EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY, due to the rise in fraudulent cashier's checks, Security 1st Title is no longer accepting International Cashier's Checks for any transaction, including earnest money.

Because fraud, escrow and money laundering scams and schemes continue, this measure will assist our teams as they diligently process your transactions.

The verification process and clearing process for International Casher's Checks are too long for us to be able to effectively close a transaction.

Based on National Cashier Check fraud activity, this is necessary to better protect the parties in the transaction.

For closing funds, we recommend utilizing wire transfers.

For earnest money in KS and MO, we recommend our Pay Earnest Money Online option.
